2008 Teen Choice Award Nominees Announced!

Miley Cyrus will host the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, comedy, sports and fashion. Today, Fox announced the nominees, and we were thrilled to see some of our favorite celebs on the list!
The CW's Gossip Girl earned an impressive 14 nominations, including Choice TV: Breakout Show, Choice TV Show: Drama, Choice TV Actor: Drama (both Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley) and Choice TV Actress: Drama (both Blake Lively and Leighton Meester).
MTV's The Hills earned several nods including Choice TV: Celebrity Reality, Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star (Brody Jenner), Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star (both Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad) as well as Choice TV: Villain (Spencer Pratt).
It looks like a lot of celebs are going head to head in the same categories, including Reese Witherspoon's current beau Jake Gyllenhaal (Rendition) and her ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe (Stop-Loss) who are both nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Drama - wonder if there will be any Hills style drama during or after the show?
Iron Man snagged four nominations, including Choice Movie: Action Adventure, Choice Movie Actor: Action Adventure (Robert Downey Jr.), Choice Movie Actress: Action Adventure (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Choice Movie: Villain (Jeff Bridges), while Stop-Loss got a pair of nominations for Choice Movie: Drama, as well as Choice Movie Actor: Drama (both Channing Tatum and Ryan Phillippe). Sex And The City earned a nomination for Choice Movie: Chick Flick.
Teen phenom and host Miley Cyrus earned four nominations for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV Comedy, Choice Music: Single and Choice Music: Female Artist, a category she shares with fellow nominees Britney Spears, Fergie, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.
The 10th Annual Teen Choice Awards will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, and will air on Monday, August 4 at 8pm PST on Fox. Starting today, fans ages 13-19 can vote for their favorite nominees at TeenChoiceAwards.com!
