Nobody Wants An Emmy

First Katherine Heigl...now Lindsay Lohan?
The LA Times is reporting that the Labor Pains starlet - whose recent turn on Ugly Betty found its way onto the list of performances being considered for an Emmy for Best Guest Actress - has bowed out of the race.
Leslie Sloane, Lindsay's agent, told the Times that Lohan took her name out of contention in the guest race because "the appearance was brief." (Lohan's cameo appearance on the season finale lasted for less than a minute.) "We made a decision to wait," Sloane said.
Seeing as how Lindsay's scheduled to appear in six episodes of Betty next year, it sounds like she's got the right idea. Still - WTF, y'all? Aren't there any actresses left who actually want to win an award?
Seriously - if actresses keep dropping out of Emmy consideration like this, we're going to end up handing out statuary to the Deal or No Deal models!
