Sean "Several Nicknames" Combs has officially changed his stage name back to "Puff Daddy", intoning "They call me Puff Daddy... he's back," at the beginning of his verse on the remix of O'Neal McKnight's "Check Your Coat". "Yeah you heard me right – I said Puff Daddy," Combs continues. "I'm about to back on that Puff Daddy sh*t."

The hip-hop mogul later confirmed the news via his MySpace blog, telling his fans that "your boy Puff Daddy" was back and reaffirming his claim on being "the King of the Remix".

What could have put Combs in such a paternal state of mind? All the time he's been spending with his darling daughters, perhaps?
