Closer UK reports that the pop star spends almost $23,000 every month just to stay trim and slim.

Costs include $4000 a month for a private dance choreographer, $8000 to work with the Pussycat Dolls' personal trainer James Van Daff, and a whopping ten grand a month for a nutritionist and dietary supplements! Damn - that's a whole lot of hoodia!

Big Changes For Britney
Britney's not letting all that money go to waste, either - she's radically altered her diet and exercise habits as a result.

These days, Closer UK reports, Britney limits herself to 1400 calories per day. A source tells the mag that Britney has "changed the way she eats, trying to have only two thirds of what is on her plate. It's all about portion control and fresh food now. And lots of water in place of Red Bull."

Tips From Posh?
In addition to her elite fitness force, Britney's also following other celebrities' diet plans - including a few from Victoria Beckham!

Apparently, Britney's been trying to eat like Posh lately, including as much steamed fish in her diet as possible and snacking on edamame beans instead of junk food. Hey, if you want to slim down, Posh makes one heck of a role model!
