Madonna Madonna071208_01_X17.jpg It's been a crazy couple of days in Madonna's world - but fortunately, it sounds like the Material Girl's starting to restore some order!

A Five Point Plan
First, the Daily Mail reports that while Madonna and her hubby Guy Ritchie have been having some difficulties lately, after several sincere heart-to-heart chats they've come up with a five-point plan to save their marriage.

Friends laid it out for the Mail:

  1. The couple pledge to cut back on work and not be apart for more than a week at a time.

  2. The children of the family will be educated in Britain, and will join their mother on her upcoming tour (along with a tutor - hey, school comes first!).

  3. Madonna vows to cut her time in the gym down from four hours a day (!!!!!!!) to three.

  4. Guy will take on no more than one obligation to attend a professional show business event every two months.

  5. Finally, Madonna agrees to table any further adoption plans until after she finishes her tour.

Of course, a radical scheme like this needs time to take effect - which is why Madge and Guy have given themselves a year to see how their plan plays out. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it works!

Loving The Controversy?
Thankfully, even though the pop singer's marriage crises may have forced her to make some changes to her life, she's not letting it get her down - in fact, according to Page Six, she's "loving" all the attention!

A source tells the Post that rather than play down her rumored relationship to New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, the Material Girl plans on cheering him on at the All-Star game at Yankee Stadium later today.

"She, [manager] Guy Oseary and some friends have tickets and are planning on going," the Post's source says. "She doesn't care about the press it will get - she loves it. It just gets her more publicity for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour."

No Publicity For Her Brother's Book
But don't make the mistake of assuming Madonna treats all press like good press - as her brother Christopher Ciccone can tell you, she's still in full control of her image!

Page Six reports that recent appearances for Christopher on The Insider and Entertainment Tonight were suddenly canceled after Madonna's rep Liz Rosenberg threatened to revoke the shows' access to the Material Girl.

A rep for the shows denies the claims, claiming "That's not us".

Christopher Fights Back
But after hearing Christopher on Good Morning America this morning, Madonna's alleged outrage almost seems justified - after all, when asked if his sis resembles the girl he always knew, he quickly shot back "Not after the facelift"!

Christopher did his best to characterize Madonna as a "lonely person", describing her as a "daddy's girl" who grew accustomed to getting what she wanted. (Ironically, he also reveals that his father had no objections to the portrait he paints of Madonna, even supplying never-before-seen family photos!)

According to Christopher, the tear in his relationship with his sister came when she rolled around on her mother's grave for her documentary Truth or Dare.

Still, Christopher seems at least open to a reconciliation, claiming that "I love her, but it will take time for us to get back to a good place."

You got that right, Christopher - especially if you keep giving interviews like that one!
