Seacrest Sez: Britney Not Performing At VMAs!

For weeks, we've been wondering whether Britney Spears might be working on a top-secret, super-special performance at the upcoming VMAs - until we tuned in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show a few hours ago!

Earlier this morning, Seacrest revealed that Britney will not be performing at the awards show, scheduled for Sunday, September 7th. Aww - at least she's still going to appear!

Of course, we caught Britney out rehearsing just yesterday afternoon. If she's not getting ready for the VMAs, what could she be working on? The new album, perhaps? Or might Britney and Ryan be conspiring to fake out Brit's fans?

Guess we'll have to tune in to the VMAs to find out!
