Tara Reid Likes Her Beads

Tara Reid has joined the countless other celebs who "design" their own clothes, and she debuted her new fashion line, Mantra, at the Christian Audigier trade show in Las Vegas yesterday. Mantra features beach and casual wear for consumers who like overpriced outfits with lots of colorful beadwork.
“It’s about putting into the universe what you want in life: Red means love, pink is friendship, green is lucky, black is protection," Tara said in a statement. "You’re gonna have a story when you wear this bikini or when you put this dress on: You’ll either get love or meet a new friend or you might meet a guy.†Or someone is going to laugh at you, take your picture and send it to Glamour magazine for their "Fashion Don'ts" column!
Tara continues, “I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life, and I love what I’m doing. I love acting but I can’t hire myself. If this works, then we’re in business. If not, I tried.†Indeed.
I do have to give credit to Tara for being original - at least she didn't copy Heidi Montag's hookerwear or Lindsay Lohan kneepad leggings (which could also be considered hookerwear). However, it looks like the model is thinking the same thing I am - why did Tara string a bunch of raver bracelets onto a backless t-shirt and decide to stick a $65-$180 price tag on it? I'm confused. So very confused.
