Our girl Brit will open the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards - SWEET! "MTV has long played an important role in my career," Britney says in a statement. "How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?"
We knew Brit had something brewing since we first saw her rehearsing over two weeks ago!
