Does Sam Refuse to Spin at Gay Bars?

The NY Post reported that Samantha Ronson turned down a gig to spin at a benefit for legendary New York lesbian bar Rubyfruit, because "she doesn't do those types of venues."

We were certainly surprised to hear that, considered that Samantha's never hidden her own sexuality and has even just "officially" come out with her relationship with Lindsay!

However, Sam's rep denies the story, saying, "It is not true. I can tell you that I am the only one that runs her calendar and was never approached by Rubyfruit."

Whaddya think? Would S. Ro so blatantly turn her back on her own?
