Although no verdict has been reached yet in the Britney Spears driving without a California license trial, X17 can report that the Jury has submitted two questions to the judge to help them decide the case:

    1) Are the charges that she was caught driving without a valid license or without a valid California license?


As we've reported, Britney had a valid Louisiana license at the time, but not one in California, the charges are that she didn't hold a California license.

and

    2) What was the reason Britney was stopped in the first place?


Although the judge declined to answer the second question, as it's irrelevant to the charges, we know why. The charge was brought about as a result of her August, 2007 fender-bender!
