It's hard to interpret Brit's admission that she's been "having to pay [for her mistakes] for a long time" and "enough is enough" as anything other than a declaration of wanting independence from her father Jamie's conservatorship.

Although he's undoubtedly turned her life around for the better, it has been almost a year since she's been under his control.
