Brit Gets Into The Holiday Spear-it!

Last night, Britney Spears shot a pre-taped segment for the annual tree-lighting ceremony at NYC's Rockefeller Center, and she looked radiant as she helped spread the holiday cheer. A dressed up Brit was joined by her family and her entourage, but it looks like not everyone in attendance was in such a jolly mood!

According to OK! Magazine, the pop princess arrived over an hour late for the taping, and she kept changing her mind about what she wanted to do. A source connected to the segment told the magazine, "You have no idea how many times Britney has changed things on us, at least 14 times since I got here on Thursday. It is Britney Spears and she can do that because they want her to boost ratings, but no one is happy putting up with this. I probably shouldn't say this, but guys on the crew were making bets about whether she would show up at all."

The source continues, "She was originally supposed to perform live and then she wanted to pre-tape her performance instead. Then she didn't want to do that. She [kept] changing her mind and [then she didn't perform] at all." According to OK!, Brit took multiple takes to perfect her message, so perhaps she just nervous about the whole TV special.

After the segment wrapped, Brit headed to the Rainbow Room for dinner, where she was joined by her mom and dad, her two sons, security guards, her assistant and her manager Larry Rudolph. Though the group seemed to be enjoying their fancy food, halfway through the meal Jayden threw a temper tantrum and repeatedly screamed, "Daddy!", which caused such a disturbance, Britney had to take him outside. The fresh air didn't seem to help, so after a few more minutes of trying to calm her youngest son, Brit handed him off to her nanny, who quickly slipped out of the restaurant.

Whew! Talk about an eventful day! As Brit wrapped things up at the restaurant, her party was served a triple layer chocolate cake topped with raspberries, of which Brit only had one bite. Aww, Brit! It's your birthday! You're allowed to have your cake and eat it too! Think she was too scared that an entire piece of cake would ruin her fab figure?
