Britney Spears britrecorddoc.jpg

In Britney: For The Record, MTV promised an all-access pass into Brit's private life, where "No topic was off limits" and "No question went unanswered." And although she definitely discussed the tough subjects honestly (including her relationship with Justin, her marriage to - and subsequent breakup with - Kevin and how she feels like a "prisoner" in her current life), there were a few topics that were only touched on lightly. Gimme more, Brit!

Here's a quick round-up of some of the highlights:

Brit talked briefly about the infamous head-shaving incident, which she brushed off as people making a bigger deal about it than it was. "A lot of people shave their heads," says Spears, claiming it was more of an expression of freedom at the time, of shedding the pain of her recent breakup with Kevin.

Then the young mom talked about her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and asks "how can these two babies be here without there being a God?" She also chatted about her life post-Kevin - "I built my dream home in Malibu, a huge house and the pool and the huge yard for the kids" - and how she now felt lost. "I look back now and wonder why I didn't just take my babies and go back home, to Louisiana," Brit reflects. She continues: "I just remember that I did not want to be at home. When I was in my car, I was driving and I was going somewhere."

Britney broke down when talking about her "too in control" life, explaining "if I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're not really listening." Hmm, is she talking about her management team, her family or both? Finally, the singer started to cry, just barely getting out the words: "It's really bad. I'm sad."

So whaddya think? Did Britney really bare all? And even if she's "better" now, does that have to include being happy?

The last line of the doc has our girl Brit declaring that she "avoids situations from the past" that might threaten her. How, the interviewer asks?

"I go through life like a Karate Kid."

Loves it!
