OMG! GG Spin-Off Deets Revealed

Photo courtesy The CWSo remember we told ya the CW was planning a spin-off of Gossip Girl and we were trying to figure out which of the cast members would be getting their own show?
Well Star Magazine says they've got the deets on the new show!
According to the mag, the new series (which still doesn't have a title) will follow the younger lives of Serena and Dan's parents Lily and Rufus, who of course you know were hot and heavy in the early '80s.
"It begins when they first meet, during a time when Rufus and his band are at the height of their career. The show will follow the high society and rock 'n' roll lifestyle in New York," an insider tells Star.
And apparently, we don't have to worry about one of our faves leaving the original GG.
"Two new actors will be hired to play the young Lily and Rufus. Producers are planning to introduce the new couple during a flashback scene in an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl," according to the mag.
