A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit over a life insurance company's refusal to hand over the money on Heath Ledger's $10 million policy, the Associated Press reports.
Ledger's daughter, 3-year-old Matilda Rose, is the beneficiary of the policy.
The insurance company had refused to pay the value of the policy while they investigated whether Ledger, who died in New York last January, committed suicide.
A coroner later ruled The Dark Knight star died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
