Lindsay and Samantha pretty much put to rest the break-up rumors once and for all as they walked the red orange carpet together in DC this weekend.

Sam was reportedly a little shy about posing for photographers at the Declare Yourself pre-inauguration party, but Linds stepped in and held Sam's hand and put an arm around her waist for moral support as the photogs snapped away.

Sam was a lot more comfortable once she hit the DJ booth where she kept the crowd dancing late in the night. A spy inside said Lindsay was nearby the whole time, texting friends and sipping Red Bulls.

It looks like this fighting that plagued their New Year's trip to Miami is totally ancient history.
