Talk about a b*tch slap in the face! This is something Regina George would pull, not sweet, stupid Karen Smith!
According to The Hollywood Reporter (via Reuters), Lindsay's "Mean Girls" co-star Amanda Seyfried, (also star of the 2008 musical hit "Mamma Mia!," and HBO's critically acclaimed "Big Love") has joined the cast of "A Woman of No Importance," an Oscar Wilde adaptation that Bruce Beresford is directing.
So what's the big deal? Well, Linds was rumored to be the top pick for the role back in 2006, but it looks like producers have changed their mind and given the part to Amanda. If I were Linds, I'd be furious, but hey - at least she lost the role to someone who has legit acting chops.
Hopefully Linds will get another project, and soon!
