Tom Cruise Breaks Down, Speaks Out About Travolta Tragedy

While taping Friday's episode of The View in NYC this morning, Tom Cruise was barely able keep it together when he talked about the passing of BFF John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett.
Tom told the ladies, "It's horrific. Both of them doting parents, just wonderful people...it's just...I remember Jett when he was born. I saw him when he was a few months old and John just adored him," he continued. "It's something I don't have the words..."
As Tom struggled to maintain his composure, co-host Barbara Walters quickly changed the subject, and she asked the "Valkyrie" star if he had any response to the critics who suggested that the Travolta's Scientologist background played a role in their son's death. Tom responded, "Not true. It's actually the opposite," and then he explained that followers are actually encouraged to seek medical attention when ailing.
The episode airs tomorrow morning, and we'll def be watching to see what else Mr. Cruise has to say!
