Rihanna Checks Out Of The Hospital, Injuries Were More Severe Than Previously Thought

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources reveal that Rihanna's injuries were "severe" - there were huge contusions on both sides of her forehead, and the singer also suffered a bloody lip and nose. One of the law enforcement sources added that the injuries "look[ed] like an MMA fighter or something...[it] looked like she was growing devil's horns." E! Online reports that when the singer was found in boyfriend Chris Brown's rented silver Lamborghini, she was "beaten really badly and hysterical."

Rihanna has since checked out of Cedars Sinai Medical Center - she was escorted out the back last night, and a source close to the investigation tells E! News that the singer used a decoy to fool the media. A member of Rihanna's inner circle also tells E! News that her family wants to bring her back to Barbados - "They want to keep her away from Chris right now."

Additionally, Rihanna will cancel a sold-out concert this Friday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as she will be taking a much needed break.

For the record, Chris Brown was booked yesterday on suspicion of making criminal threats where a victim "fear[s] for [his/her] life," but he could face additional charges now that the case had been forwarded on to the district attorney.
