Efron17AgainBoxOffice.jpgZac Efron's 17 Again easily won this weekend's box office race, proving that the HSM actor can open a film for a studio other than Disney.

The floppy-haired heartthrob's comedy brought in an estimated $24.1 million in it's opening weekend, easily beating Russell Crow's political-thriller State of Play, which earned only $14.1 million.

Dreamwork's animated Monsters Vs Aliens took third place with another $12.9 million, while last week's top flick Miley Cyrus' Hannah Montana: The Movie dropped to fourth with $12.6 million in ticket sales - just slightly ahead of
the $12.2 million Fast and Furious brought in for the fifth spot.

Looks like we're not the only ones who love Zac!!!
