mlohan011509_011.jpg As you know, Michael Lohan was arrested on April 6 for making a "phone threat" to fiancee Erin Muller on March 18, according to local police.

The NY Post reported that Lohan allegedly threatened to kill his fiancee and himself, but Michael has released a statement denying the whole thing.

Additionally, the paper reports that at his hearing yesterday, Lohan "flipped out" when he walked into Central Islip court and spotted Post reporter Kieran Crowley, and he ran to his car to hide from the media while his lawyer, Anthony Grandinette, appeared on his behalf.

In an statement released today, Lindsay's father tells X17online:

What happened was, I was traveling in Vegas and LA. While I was gone, Erin went out with a friend. She then met up with a supposed guy "friend". They all went back to his place and he did something horrible to Erin.

Again, I was in Vegas and LA when this happened but I guess because he knew what he did was soo wrong, he got nervous and convince[d] Erin to go with him to the police to file a complaint for making a threat over the phone, REGARDLESS. I never threatened to hurt Erin or myself. Erin and are still together and happily engaged.

You know that I don't lie and that I don't stand for liars or people that violate my family. Kieran Crowley from the NY Post lied and twisted everything in his [report].
