mjackson052009_drugs.jpgMichael Jackson was said to be on a cocktail of up to seven prescription drugs in the months before his death, according to Life & Style magazine.

The report says Jackson was taking painkillers and anti-anxiety drugs in recent months and that it was an overdose of these medications that led to respiratory and cardiac arrest.

Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman told Nancy Grace on CNN that he had been warned about Michael's prescription drug use as he prepped his UK shows. "Where there is smoke, there is fire," he said -- and he compared Jackson to Anna Nicole Smith, saying Michael had "enablers" just as she did.

Meanwhile, another report says Jackson was being visited daily by doctors. A source told Hollyscoop about Jackson's personal physician was with the King of Pop at the hospital today.
