FarrahStatement.jpgMoments after Farrah Fawcett passed away, Ryan O'Neal emerged from St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica saying simply, "She's gone."

O'Neal was accompanied by Farrah's longtime friend Alana Stewart who described Fawcett's death as "peaceful."

Moments ago Ryan O'Neal issued this statement:

    "After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away. Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."


In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations to support cancer research be made to:

X17online's cameras were rolling outside of St. John's Hospital at the time of Farrah's passing. Media outlets from around the world had gathered at the hospital after it was learned the Charlie's Angels star had been moved to intensive care yesterday evening.
