"Needy, Clingy" Jessica Lost Without Dog Daisy

The elder Simpson sister tried to drown her sorrows in wine with BFF Ken Paves at Vino in Encino this weekend, but it doesn't seem to be helping her get over the loss of beloved dog Daisy...

A friend of Jessica's tells People that "Daisy was her security blanket" and, unlike the men in her life, "Daisy never betrayed her. She gave her unconditional love."

The friend also goes on to say Jessica "would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow." Ouch! What kinda friend is this? Check out this even more embarrassing quote below:

"Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy. She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she's hard to be around. It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony [Romo]. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed."
