Whoa, this movie is a pop culture phenomenon!
Paramount Pictures - the studio that acquired cheaply made horror flick for only $300,000 - is planning on producing a sequel...
"We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do 'Paranormal 2' and we're looking to see if that makes some sense," says chairman Brad Grey. The movie has already taken in $62.5 million domestically.
Hmm, but what about the sequel to The Blair Witch Project? That crashed and burned at the box office! Why ruin a good thing?
