First she replaced him in Salt, then she signed on for The Tourist, which was originally set to star Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron. Now it looks like Angie might be paired with Johnny Depp in the upcoming action thriller!
Hollywood no longer features tough guys in their superhero movies - what's UP Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man! And now action stars like Tom Cruise are getting replaced by Angelina Jolie. Katie Holmes' hubby's next project is the more lighthearted action comedy Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz.
Is the film industry moving in a new direction? Or is this just because Angie is already an action hero?
I think it's just Angie being Angie, but who knows!
