Even though Katherine Jackson dropped her challenge against the executors of Michael Jackson's estate, Joe Jackson is still fighting for a cut of his late son's money, and he's very upset with Katherine for backing down!

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved John Branca and John McClain as executors to run Michael's estate, and while he ruled that Joe has no right to challenge the decision, the father of the year does have a court date in December to argue that he should get an allowance to cover his expenses, which he claim add up to over $20,000 a month.

According to CNN, Katherine Jackson changed her mind three weeks after she hired attorney Adam Streisand to replace the lawyers who were leading her challenge against Branca and McClain.

Brian Oxman, the attorney who filed Joe Jackson's challenge against the executors had very harsh words for Katherine, telling the judge, "She has now reneged on her obligation to her family," adding that it was "one of the most despicable displays" he's ever seen in court.

Streisand fired back and said, "That is not only baseless, but just a product of Mr. Oxman's imagination ... [Katherine] feels that Mr. Branca and Mr. McClain have been doing an admirable job. We're going to try to partner with them and work closely with them to make sure that the estate is doing the best that it can for the legacy of Michael Jackson, for the kids, most importantly." He added that Katherine "feels it's high time that the fighting ends."

Maybe Joe should listen?
