The People's Choice Awards nominees have been announced, and it looks like the fans who cast over 18 million votes have been bitten by the vampire bug, because Twilight earned six nominations while HBO's True Blood snagged three.
Twilight was nominated for favorite movie and franchise, and Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all earned a nod for favorite on-screen team. K. Stew and Rob were also nominated for favorite movie actress and actor, while Taylor and his six pack earned a nomination for breakout movie actor.
True Blood was nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show, and star Anna Paquin earned a nom for TV drama actress. And that's not all - The CW's The Vampire Diaries also earned two nominations, one for best new TV drama, and the other for favorite TV sci-fi/fantasy show, which will have it up against True Blood. That's a whole lot of fangs ... but we wouldn't have it any other way!
