The Florida Department of Children and Families paid a visit to Tiger Woods' Windemere, Florida home over the weekend, according to Us Weekly.
Online reports claim that a police car and an unmarked car from the DCF were parked outside Woods' home for about an hour on Saturday, but it is not known whether or not Tiger was home at the time of the visit. Tiger and his wife Elin have two children together, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months.
Captain Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Department said his office was in contact with DCF, but would not confirm whether or not they visited the golf pro's house. He released the following statement:
- "We met with Department of Family and Child Services on Friday afternoon. I can tell you that it is a common occurrence when they need assistance. We have no information regarding their investigation or who may be involved."
