X17 XCLUSIVE - Britney Skips Court Date, Goes Shopping

archiveBritney Spears declined to show up for her scheduled appearance in court this afternoon, heading to a shopping center instead.
X17online photogs report that Brit hit a nail salon in her Calabasas neighborhood at 1:30 -- the exact time she was due in court -- before heading to a Barnes & Noble and a jewelry store.
Photogs asked the pop princess if she was shopping for a little present for her boyfriend, Jason Trawick, and Brit replied, "No, I'm shopping for myself!"
Britney seemed happy and completely oblivious to the fact that the court was waiting for her. So we have to wonder, with so many minders and lawyers and conservators, was this really just a little "mix-up" with her schedule? Or did she blow it off intentionally?
Britney will have the chance to tell the judge exactly what happened next Friday at 1:30 pm when she's ordered to appear again.
