It's not over 'til it's over and Michael Lohan is NOT finished with his battle against what he claims are legal injustices perpetrated against him by his ex-girlfriend's legal team. Here's what Michael tells X17online about his arrest yesterday and his ongoing legal battle against Erin Muller ...
- "Because of the leaks and lies by my former fiance's (Erin Muller's) lawyer, Bryan Konoski, I am left with no choice but to let the court of public opinion first hear and see what Bryan has done and how he has lied to Erin, the courts, and the general public.
First, he solicited Hailey Glassman out on Facebook to obtain her as client. In Hailey's case, he tried to used my name to get Hailey to leave her ethical, loyal and more accomplished attorney, Stephanie Ovadia. According to ethics and standards, this is a BIG no no in the legal community.
Second, on Bryan's website, he uses other attorney's cases to comment on, making it look like they are his cases.
Third, he submitted a list of slanderous and defamatory accusations, to try to defame me, which he filed as a Clayton Motion, but instead of sending it to the court, he sent it to the press. He then withdrew the motion to the court, because the 'damage was done.' The very accusations Erin made, weren't things I did, but things Erin did to me.
My attorney, Tony Grandinette, could have and still can rebut this motion, which in essence would prove the accusations to be lies, but as professional and respectful as Tony is, he held off.
Fourth, my attorney's and I have been asking for Erin and I, to mediate this case in an effort to put our differences aside and go our own ways peacefully. Instead, it is my opinion, and has become evident, that our requests have not been clearly expressed to Erin.
Fifth, recently, when Erin was charged with kicking me in the face, she pleaded guilty to an ACOD (acceptance of guilt in contemplation of dismissal), Bryan told the press the charges were dropped. It was brought to my attention, that he leaked this [to the press] and when [a journalist] called me to ask about the charges being dropped, I said they weren't. I explained that an ACOD is a plea of guilty, but if the defendant commits a crime again, the charges can be restored. When Bryan heard this from [the journalist], Bryan got extremely upset because he misrepresented the facts. He called my attorney, Tony and said that now he wouldn't mediate because Erin was now in tears and her family was upset. How is this possible when my comment was never printed and Erin or her family were never contacted?
This guy is so full of "IT," he is a phony and he isn't looking out for Erin's best interest.
HE, Bryan Konski did this!! My attorneys and/or I didn't want to speak out to the press about additional charges. But Bryan has left us no choice.
But now, if we go to trial, the WORLD with see and hear the truth. Unfortunately, Erin's entire history, along with her family will have to come out, in order to corroborate Erin's actions, behavior and accusations.
But first, we start with the ethics and grievance committees, to file complaints against, Mr. Bryan Konoski, for his unethical practices.
I am TRULY sorry that it has come to this. I really am. I spent over two years with Erin, I loved her every day of the two plus years and I NEVER cheated on her. If I did, let that person come forward.
Instead, it was all done to me. I only wish Erin the best."
