Following Joel Madden on Twitter is like a virtual comedy show, but we're not sure how Nicole Richie will react to his latest tweet! Though Joel pokes fun at his fiancee from time to time, this seems like it may have landed him a permanent spot on diaper duty!

Joel tweeted this morning:
    I went and saw shutter island. Oddly it reminded me of my relationship. i'm pretty sure nicole pulled the same stuff on me. ANd here i am ... yep pretty sure she brainwashed me.


In the film, Leonardo DiCaprio's wife (spoiler alert!) drowns their three children in a lake, and Leo's character kills her afterwards. Maybe they both have the same twisted sense of humor?
