But before that, he'll appear in court in Aspen over domestic abuse charges stemming from that squabble with wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day.

This is good news for the hit CBS show, as it would only mean a three-week shutdown for production.

As far as Charlie's family life goes, will he and Brooke seriously be able to reconcile after this whole mess?
