Corey Feldman, the childhood best friend of teen star Corey Haim who was found dead in his apartment yesterday, spoke with X17online on his way in to appear on Larry King Live yesterday at CNN's Hollywood studios.

The fellow actor appeared in numerous films with his pal, including License to Drive and The Lost Boys, and the two reunited on the small screen in A&E's The Two Coreys in 2006.

Feldman and Nicole Eggert, an ex-girlfriend of Haim's, appeared on Larry King last night. Feldman told King he had seen his friend just days ago and that "he was fine. He was actually giving me some advice about something I was very upset about. He was being very positive."

Feldman warned against premature conclusions about his friend's death possible causes other than a drug overdose - like kidney and heart failure, an accidental lethal mixture of prescription medications, or simply his body giving up after years of drug abuse:

"Until the coroner's report comes out and until we get specific evidence and until we know exactly what the toxicology report says, nobody knows [how Haim died]. We are aware of the fact that Corey Haim has a long and detailed drug history and battled addiction for many, many years. I know it better than anybody, because I've been the guy stuffing charcoal down his throat when he was [overdosing]. I've been the guy trying to make him stand up or say a complete sentence. I've been through it with him many, many times, and it's happened very badly and very intensely through the years."
