The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the estate of Anna Nicole Smith is not entitled to one penny of the more than $300 million dollars the late Playmate claimed J. Howard Marshall promised her during their brief marriage.

The AP reports that after a 15 year battle, in which both parties (J. Howard Marshall's son E. Pierce Marshall and Anna Nicole) have passed away, the court decided that a Texas jury's 2001 verdict which favored E. Pierce Marshall should be honored because it had heard from all parties during the five-month trial.

Any subsequent rulings they said should be ignored.

If the court ruled in favor of Anna Nicole, the vast fortune would have gone to Dannielynn.
