Robert Pattinson said the experience of stripping down for some steamy sex scenes with Emilie de Ravin for Remember Me has given him "a lot of respect for porn stars!"

The Twilight hunk told The Sunday Times Style Magazine that he struggled with the tools the film provided him to try and maintain a shred of modesty.

"When you end up doing it, you have this little patch on your privates. I didn’t really tape it up properly, so I’d spent so long taping it round myself and then literally it falls off within one second and it’s taped to the sheet," he said. "And you realize the whole crew are looking directly at your butt crack. I can’t think of anything exciting for them about this. It gives you a lot of respect for porn stars.”

I bet I know a lot of girls who would find that incredibly "exciting!"

And speaking of tools, the director gave him a few of his own to work with for the scene.

“We got on to the bed and the director was like, ‘I got you these things, if just maybe you wanted to use them. You don’t have to use them, maybe it will make you more comfortable.’ They were these bondage things: lube and handcuffs and porn videos. It was so funny!“
