Robert Pattinson will not be playing Kurt Cobain in a new biopic about the late rocker's life, his agent's office tells X17online.

Rumors that Pattinson would be picking up the guitar as Nirvana's front man opposite Scarlett Johansson's Courtney Love have been sweeping the net, and although we couldn't think of a better casting for this infamous couple, unfortunately, that's not that case.

Pattinson is currently shooting his next film, Bel Ami, in Budapest.
