Sandra Bullock is ready to tell the world about her new baby boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, but until now the entire adoption process has flown under the radar. The Oscar-winning actress reveals to People Magazine: - "It was like a CIA mission. Anything we did with Louis had to be pre-planned. Just the doctors’ visits were filled with decoys and dark cars. I didn’t want Louis pulled into the awards season energy. I wanted him all to myself. I did not want him brought into a world that would have not been as sincere to him as I would have wanted.â€Â
Little Louis is from New Orleans, and according to a source at Louisiana's Department of Social Services and Child Welfare, Sandra's "adoption process wasn't as easy as everyone thinks."
X17online has learned that Bullock had to go through "extensive training, pass a home study and even have her sleeping arrangements evaluated" before Louis could be released to her. We're told the "process was lengthy." Even though the little boy was adopted from New Orleans, those close to the case tell X17online that LA's Department of Social Services worked hand in hand to coordinate Sandra's evaluation.
Although the public was kept in the dark about the adoption, Sandra says Jesse's kids Jesse Jr., Chandler and Sunny were in the know. She tells the mag:
- "They knew this had to be kept quiet, and I knew how hard that was going to be, especially when you're just bursting at the seams with pride and you want to scream it at everyone you see and meet."
Makes you wonder if George Lopez got to hold Sandra's little bundle when he visited last month. Fortunately, he was actually able to visit, unlike others.
- “People I had worked with for years couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t let them into my house for fittings. I would have them meet me at random hotels down the street from the house. My makeup artist couldn’t understand why I was so tired and needed copious amounts of concealer.â€Â
The actress began the adoption process four years ago. Sandra tells People: "He's just perfect; I can't even describe him any other way."
