Bret Michaels is still recovering from from his health problems, but it hasn't stopped the rocker from announcing his plans to take over Simon Cowell's judges seat.

During his Biloxi, Miss. concert, Michael's spilled the beans to his concertgoers saying, "I don't know if it's true, but I could possibly be a judge on American Idol."

The big job hasn't officially been offered to the Poison frontman, but during recent interviews, Simon Cowell has suggested Michaels as a replacement.

The 47-year-old recently announced that he will undergo heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart. This past April, Michael's suffered a brain hemorrhage, and just recently, he suffered from a mild stroke. Although his doctors ordered him to stay home, he attended the finale for Celebrity Apprentice and won.

Michaels is no stranger to reality TV. In addition to Celebrity Apprentice, he appeared on three seasons of Rock of Love and was a judge on Nashville Star.
