A New Jersey judge has agreed to hear a suit against the producers of MTV's hit show Jersey Shore, which claims castmembers deliberately provoked fights in order for producers to profit from the “criminal enterprise.â€Â
An attorney filed suit in March seeking damages on behalf of three clients who were involved in fights with the show's Ronnie Magro.
A judge refused a motion to dismiss the claim that the defendants violated New Jersey's racketeering statute on Friday, reports The AP.
