For once, Christina Aguilera's outfit doesn't look like it was snatched for Lady Gaga's closet but still, we can't help but wonder if Ms. Xtina isn't becoming irrelevant on the pop scene?

No doubt she's got talent that kills most of her competitors, but is she fresh enough, new enough, successful enough at reinventing herself to stay alive in the cut-throat world of Gaga, Riri and Fergie?

Tonight's performance was pretty damn good and she's looking hotter than ever in this sexy cut-out dress but still ... is she giving us a new sound or just rehashing everybody else's beats?
