The project was purchased by Universal Pictures last week, and the company behind The Proposal will produce.

The film follows a criminal (Bullock) who is escorted to court by a U.S. Marshall (Reynolds), but chaos ensues when the unlikely duo are ambushed on the way and are forced to go on the run.

Sounds kinda like The Bounty Hunter, but oh well!
