snookilogo230.jpgJersey Shore star Snooki, aka Nicole Polizzi, will be facing a third charge in connection with her July 30th boardwalk arrest in Seaside Heights, NJ.

The reality star, who has already been charged on counts of disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance, will now face an additional charge of being annoying, according to the Associated Press.

New Jersey prosecutors handling the case say that numerous beachgoers filed complaints to police claiming she was bugging them on the day of her arrest.

However a Jersey municipal prosecutor doesn't think the charge will stick ... telling the AP, "I understand she's become a public celebrity, but in all honesty it's really not much of a charge."

Snooki's trial will begin on September 8th.
