conradback.jpg Lauren Conrad may have left The Hills to pursue a career as an author and a fashion designer, but if we're to believe the rumors this morning, the former reality TV starlet will be back on the small screen.

An insider tells Us Weekly that Lauren "is getting her very own reality show -- and that the networks have been fighting over it." Lauren wouldn't confirm the news and her rep has yet to give us a comment, but she told the mag, "The only way I'd return to reality TV would be if it allowed me to decide when the cameras stop."

It sure seems like someone would be willing to give her what she wants, and if the paycheck is as big as what she was making on The Hills (over $100,000 per episode) why not?
