Russell Brand Arrested, Taken Into Custody After Attack On Photographers

Russell Brand has been taken into custody by the LAX airport police as a result of a "private person's arrest."According to the LAX PD spokesperson, the British actor was arrested "by the photographer he battered" ... and then taken away by officers.
About 1:50 pm today, Los Angeles Airport Police responded to Terminal 5 to a report of a battery between Brand and the photographer. Airport Police took Brand into custody for Penal Code Section 242 - battery.
He will be booked at the LAPD Pacific Division station.
