Russell Brand Uses His Flesh Appeal To Promote New Book

If you haven't heard of Russell Brand's Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal, then the funnyman is hoping this nude TwitPic will give you a visual image that you won't soon forget.

Katy Perry's British fiance, who released his first book back in 2007, certainly has a creative way to promote his efforts. His smooth body is looking fit and fabulous, and the banana is classic Russell.

Along with the naked pic showing Brand strategically covering up his privates, the comedian tweeted, "Erotic literature?"

Not quite. The book is said to be an autobiography about his crazy life on the road, tabloid scandals and his love affair with Miss Perry. May be too late to include the recent photographer smackdown at LAX from a few weeks ago.

Guess we'll have to read between the lines.
