russellflipsout10.jpgRussell Brand has been detained at LAX for allegedly attacking photographers.

Brand was with fiance Katy Perry at the time, and we're told by X17 photographers that the two were making their way through Delta Airlines security when Russell "lost his cool and began hitting the photographers."

The British actor is being detained for questioning and Katy Perry is with him.

A photographer on the scene tells us:

    "Russell was going crazy. Sometimes he can't stand the paparazzi. He was fine one minute and then he just flipped. He must be nervous about the wedding or something."


X17online has learned exclusively that the photographers plan to press charges.
