meganfoxnewwork.jpg Megan Fox is joining the new film, Friends With Kids, where she will be starring opposite Mad Men's John Hamm and SNL's Kristin Wiig.

The flick follows a pair of thirtysomething best friends who "observe the toll that children take on the couples they know and resolve to bypass that stress by having a child and then dating other people," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jennifer Westfeldt (who also wrote the film) will direct and star with Adam Scott as her boyfriend, and Fox will play a girl who begins to date Scott's character. The film will be released in April, and we'll be eagerly anticipating a trailer in the meantime.

This isn't exactly Transformers, but maybe Megan will kick ass in this rom com?
