Whether or not you're a Taylor Swift fan, this is great news for the music industry because it means people are actually going out and buying CDs again!

Taylor Swift - seen above at the unveiling of her wax figure in NYC on Wednesday - just released her third album Speak Now and Billboard predicts it'll sell between 800,000-900,000 copies in the first week.

Scott Borchetta, president and CEO of Swift's label Big Machine Label Group, says that the week's sales are already trending "way north" of 700,000. This means the album will likely beat Eminem's Recovery, which moved 741,000 in its first week.

Let's hear it for 20-year-old Taylor Swift! I guess writing sad songs about your ex-boyfriends really pays off.
