Maria Sharpova is engaged to her NBA player beau, Sasha Vujacic, of the L.A. Lakers.

The Slovenian-born basketball player popped the question to the Russian-born tennis beauty last Tuesday. The happy news was confirmed to CNBC by Sharpova's rep.

The two pro-athletes first stepped out together last November. This will be the first marriage for both.
